Make Music Madison

Make Music Madison is a free, citywide day of music held annually on June 21st. Initiated in Madison in 2013, the festival is part of Make Music Day, an international summer solstice music celebration occurring in 1,000+ cities across the globe. Each year, coffee shops, restaurants, retail shops, centers of worship, front porches, parks, and other locations across Madison fill with music for everyone to enjoy!

Join your neighbors for a fun-filled evening in Arbor Hills Park! There will be two food trucks with meals for purchase and live music. AHNA Members - don't forget to bring the coupon you received in the mail for a discount on your meal! Bring your own blanket or chair to sit on. Families can enjoy the playground, basketball court (bring your own ball), or bring a ball or frisbee to play in the open grassy space.

Musicians:

Lindsay Drozdik - 1pm-2pm is a Madison-based vocalist, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Originally from St. Charles, IL, her solo performances blend vocals, acoustic guitar, and live foot percussion to create a dynamic one-woman-band sound. She also performs with the band Violence Against Pottery as a drummer and violinist, and teaches voice and guitar at Maven Vocal Arts. Lindsay is currently recording her debut EP, Growing Pains.

Chuck Friedrichs -  2pm-3pm

Arbor Hills very own!! Chuck is an acoustic guitar player and singer. Mature in age, young at heart.

Betty Fight - 3pm-4pm

Forged as co-workers from Extreme Engineering Solutions Inc. in Verona, Betty Fight has been playing rock, punk, blues, and metal covers since 2022. From Rage Against the Machine, to Muse, to the Killers, to Blink 182, and many more, we pack lots of fun, energy, and angst into our sets!
