Make Music Madison

Make Music Madison is a free, citywide day of music held annually on June 21st, the longest day of the year. Initiated in Madison in 2013, our festival is part of the larger Make Music Day, an international summer solstice music celebration occurring in 1,000+ cities across the globe. Each year, coffee shops, restaurants, retail shops, centers of worship, front porches, parks, and other locations across Madison fill with music for everyone to enjoy!

Join your neighbors for a fun-filled evening in Arbor Hills Park! There will be two food trucks with meals for purchase and live music. AHNA Members - don't forget to bring the coupon you received in the mail for a discount on your meal! There will also be treats, courtesy of the neighborhood association. Bring your own blanket or chair to sit on. Families can enjoy the playground, basketball court (bring your own ball), or bring a ball or frisbee to play in the open grassy space. Music:

5-5:45 pm: Steady JB: Singer/songwriter with an acoustic guitar covering rock, blues, and more.

6-6:45: Chuck Friedrichs: Arbor Hills resident Chuck Friedrichs will wow the crowd with his range of mellow and upbeat melodies, accompanied by his guitar.

7-7:45: Laura Lang plays her original songs on piano and guitar on her original songs, but her real joy is in helping others write their own original tunes. As a teaching artist for Overture Center's Lullaby and My Melody Projects, she cowrites songs with local families.
